I was wondering, as an intellectual exercise, if I were to take the opposite view point to both of these articles, which position lord Turnips would find more loathesome; being anti-US automakers, or being anti-Detroit Lions.
Your hate for the Lions is the same as that of a battered woman for her husband. The hate exists, but she keeps going back for more, thinking that he will change.
